ASEZ STAR Bronx Branch in NY, U.S. Cleans Up Around White Plains Road

On February 18, about 50 members of ASEZ STAR—the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group—from the Bronx Branch in New York carried out the Green World Project along White Plains Road in New York City. In support of the group’s environmental initiative, the New York City Department of Sanitation provided trash bags, gloves, brooms, and other cleaning supplies. Walking over 500 m (0.3 mi) along the sidewalk, members collected carelessly discarded litter such as styrofoam, torn boxes, and various debris—contributing to a cleaner and healthier city environment.
