Often times, we may find it hard to forget our hurt feelings. Although I thought that I let go of my hurt feelings, they would come up again and resurface in my heart.

“The servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go. But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded. His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’ But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt.” Mt 18:26–30

Heavenly Father and Mother forgave my grievous sins that cannot be forgiven, but I could not do the same to others. Like the unmerciful servant in the parable, I had been demanding others to repay me for everything, even the smallest one.

Since Heavenly Father and Mother have made us the heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven with every blessing, I must not hold on to any debts of my brothers and sisters except the debt to love one another.
