Dedication Services for the Churches in Eungwang and Jongno in Seoul, and the Church in Gwanjeo, Daejeon, Korea
Places of Blessing That Will Contribute to the Completion of the World Evangelism
Korea
Before the Day of Pentecost, when the gift of the Holy Spirit was promised, dedication services for new temples, which would be a haven for many souls, were held in Seoul and Daejeon, Korea. On April 29, the Eungwang Church and the Jongno Church in Seoul, located in the west and east of the lower part of Bukhansan Mountain, had a dedication service each. The Gwanjeo Church in Daejeon, which is located in the middle of Republic of Korea, also joyfully kept a dedication service.
Mother prayed that the members would receive the blessings, strength, and courage of the Holy Spirit through the dedication services, and said, “Each church reflects your efforts and hard work.” She thanked the members again and again since they prayed together and made efforts to complete the new temples while overcoming many hardships. She also reminded them that both Seoul and Daejeon began the gospel work from a house church, but they grew rapidly with God’s help. “The gospel goes well in the church where the members are united. Let us unite to produce many gospel workers who will display God’s glory, and speed up the completion of the world evangelism.”

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol hoped that the new temples would serve as the places to accomplish the gospel mission to save all humanity. He said, “God has granted the Passover of the new covenant to save His dying children, and He has established the Church of God as a place to keep and preach the truth.” Additionally, he emphasized that in order to accomplish the mission, we should have “eyes of faith” that only look at God, regardless of circumstances and situations. “In the time of the Exodus, to the eyes of the ten spies, Jericho looked a strong fortress and people who live there looked powerful. However, in the eyes of Joshua and Caleb, only the victory of God was seen. Let us, too, look at the prophecies of the Bible with the eyes of faith and preach the gospel to all parts of the world as well as in the city where you live” (Jn 6:53–57; Lk 22:7–20; Ro 8:16; 2 Ki 6:17; Mt 28:18–20; Dt 31:6–8. Jos 1:5–9. Mt 24:13–14).
Eungwang Church in Seoul
The Church has one basement level and five stories above the ground, and its exterior is made of red bricks, so it fits well with the peaceful surroundings. The members are constantly practicing the teachings of Christ by carrying out volunteer services tailored to the community in connection with the Senior Welfare Center.

Alexander Martins (from Hamilton, Canada), who attended the dedication service during his visit to Korea, said, “Selflessness and consideration are the same in the Church of God whether in Canada or in Korea. Nowadays when love is cooling down, it is natural that the Church of God with full of love is established in many locations throughout the world.”
Jongno Church, Seoul
Jongno-gu is famous as an active commercial center in Seoul, the capital city of Korea. The Jongno Church in Seoul, which stands out with its sophisticated architecture with one basement level and three stories above ground, is built on the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, the outskirt of the city, to provide comfort and rest to the local residents like Mother’s arms.

The members said, “On weekends, many people pass by the church to climb Bukhansan Mountain, so we will diligently preach the truth to them to come to God’s Mount Zion and receive salvation and new life.”
Gwanjeo Church in Daejeon
The Gwanjeo district, where the Church is located, is receiving attention as a new residential center with well-equipped housing, good education district, and recreational facilities. The Gwanjeo Church, which was built along the main road, has one basement level and three floors above the ground, and is easily accessible because it is close to the Seodaejeon Interchange. Doan-daero, which connects Seo-gu and Yuseong-gu, is expected to be fully opened within this year, so neighboring residents will be in and out of the area.

The twelve churches in the Daejeon cooperate with each other at various events such as blood drives, Bible seminar, orchestra concert. The members of the Gwanjeo Church are eager to preach the truth of the new covenant to 1.44 million people in Daejeon, the great field of the gospel, and to support churches in other regions of Korea and overseas, in unity with the members of nearby churches.
