The Higgs boson is an elementary particle that composes the universe, and it plays an important role in explaining about the universe through modern physics. However, physicists failed to prove its existence for about 50 long years even though they could foresee the existence of the Higgs boson. CERN [the European Organization for Nuclear Research] is the place where the existence of the Higgs boson was proved.
CERN successfully developed and manufactured LHC [Large Hadron Collider] which is a 27-kilometer long powerful particle accelerator with collaboration from 10,000 physicists in 25 years. Furthermore, thanks to long years of hard work from thousands of physicists who visited CERN, the existence of the Higgs boson finally got proved in 2012.
Such a collaboration system as above was seen as the key factor in CERN’s success. Sergio Bertolucci, a former assistant director of CERN, explained that scientists from 100 different countries were able to bring about outstanding achievements despite differences in their country of origin, language, culture, lifestyle, and their way of thinking, because they had a specific goal of benefiting all mankind through science. CERN developed WWW [World Wide Web], took the lead in internet revolution, and produced a number of Nobel laureates.
We are gospel workers, entrusted with the mission to save the whole world. It does not really matter whether we have a different background or lifestyles. We can generate an incredible level of synergy if we trust our brothers and sisters with one mind, hoping to achieve the specific goal of saving the whole mankind.
then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose … but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.Php 2:2–4
