A Fruit Taught Me Patience

I went out to preach the gospel at Osasco Center and met a lady near the subway station. She lived in Itapevi, about an hour and a half away by car from Osasco. She had visited many churches, but she had not attended any of them because no one taught her the Bible correctly. When she heard the truth about God the Mother, she was very interested and said, “It is testified in the Bible so clearly, but how come no one taught me this until now?” She wanted to know more about the Bible and to meet again on Sunday.

A few days later, I headed for Itapevi to meet her as we had agreed. I took the train and the bus alternately and climbed a steep hill for a long time, and finally found her house. She was very thankful that we came for her; actually, she had thought we wouldn’t come because of the distance.

That day, her husband too was at home. He explained what had happened just before we arrived. The pastor of their previous church suddenly visited them and they happened to argue about God the Mother. In the end, the lady told the pastor that she confirmed the existence of God the Mother in the Bible and sent him away. I was proud of her who trusted the Bible, not man, and made the right decision. After studying the truth about the Spirit and the Bride who is God the Mother, who came as the Saviors of this age, she was born again that day as a child of God with her husband and her youngest son.

It was about 11 o’clock at night when we returned to Zion after finishing our schedule for that day. I was tired but very happy that we’d found our lost heavenly family members for the first time in other city near our Osasco Zion. Because of the joy, even the fatigue felt sweet.

On the other hand, I was worried. Brazilians with the relaxed nature rarely attended churches over an hour’s distance. Since there was not much time left until the Passover, I had no choice but to go visit the sister’s family diligently to feed the words of God and plant faith in them to bring the sister’s family to worship in Osasco. However, it was not easy to meet them. Often they were not at home at the appointed time, so I had to walk up the hill back and forth, waiting for them a few hours to deliver the word of the truth. Sometimes, they could not come on the Sabbath because some things came up. They could barely keep the Passover.

Even after they kept the Passover with much difficulty, I was anxious every Sabbath day; it was common for the sister, who understood very well when studying the Bible, not to come as something happened on worship days. Her husband had nothing to do during the week, but something happened when the Sabbath day came. It was rather strange.

I was worried how I could help the sister who did not overcome the situations. I wanted to give up. However, every time I wanted to give up, God held onto the sister.

As time passed by, the sister grew in faith and struggled to keep God’s regulations, and also acted and spoke like a child of God. Watching her change, I said to myself, ‘Because of my hasty judgment, I was almost about to lose God’s child whom God raised with His sacrifice!’

Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother taught me patience through the sister. Through the process from our first meeting to her understanding of God’s true love, I realized I lacked patience. I give thanks to God Elohim for waiting for such an impatient soul. In return for God’s grace, I will do my best to carry out my duty as a spiritual firstborn, loving my brothers and sisters whom I met after a long separation just as Heavenly Mother never gives up on Her children.
