On August 6, about 20 members of ASEZ—the World Mission Society Church of God University Student Volunteer Group—from the University of the Philippines (UP) and Korea planted trees at the Payatas Controlled Disposal Facility Park in cooperation with Quezon City Hall. Formerly a major waste disposal site, the area was completely closed in 2017 and is now being transformed into a citizen-friendly space through government initiatives.
After receiving a briefing from a Quezon City Hall official, the volunteers planted a hundred trees provided by the city, contributing to the creation of new green space within the facility.
