On December 15, ASEZ WAO, the World Mission Society Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group, carried out the Green Earth Project at Panmure Basin in Maungakiekie–Tamaki, in collaboration with Auckland Council. Large-size waste, including construction debris and vehicle parts, had been illegally dumped throughout the area. On the day of the event, a total of 80 participants — including ASEZ WAO members and local residents — joined forces to collect 3 tonnes of trash, hoping to keep the Earth green and healthy.
