On August 24, about 70 members from three Churches of God in the Nairobi region gathered to carry out a cleanup on Ngara Street. The street, lined with residential buildings and shops, often accumulates significant amounts of household waste. Over the course of two hours, the members collected snack wrappers, PET bottles, sacks, and various other debris, meticulously picking up even small pieces of litter hidden among the grass. In total, the volunteers gathered 510 kilograms (1,124 lbs) of waste.
