On May 11, about 440 members of ASEZ WAO, the World Mission Society Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group, carried out a cleanup at Silmi Beach as part of the “2040 Plastic-Free”1 campaign. They collected around 80 kilograms (176 pounds) of plastic waste, including buoys and disposable water bottles washed ashore, helping to protect the marine ecosystem.
