There was a family with five children. The second daughter did well at school and was praised by the people around her. However, she was sad that her parents seemed not to be interested in her while they took good care of her brothers and sister. So one day, she asked her mom, “Mom, who do you love most among us?”
Then the mom answered with a gentle smile.
“When your brother wandered during puberty, I loved him most, and when you had a hard time after arguing with your friend, I loved you most. When your little brother fell while riding a bike and came back home, crying, I loved him most. When I couldn’t buy your second brother the toy he wanted, I loved him most. And when I ran to the emergency room with your youngest sister because of a high fever, I loved her most.”
When a child is sick and has a hard time, the parents put more love to share the pain of the child. Parents always keep their minds on a sick child, so there is not a single day for them to live in comfort.
