Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 1 Pe 4:12–16

Sometimes, we look for a prestigious title in the world to hold. What we should look to, however, is that we bear the title of being a Christian.

To receive a title in the physical world, there is always criteria that must be met. In the same way, to bear the title of being a Christian, there is also criteria that must be met. I realize that being worthy of bearing such a title means to truly embody the characteristics of Heavenly Mother—deep sacrifice, determination to overcome the most challenging hardships, and having perfect love.

I hope that I can always meet the standards of God in order to bear the title of a true Christian. Until we meet Heavenly Father in the air, I want to place more value on the fact that I am a Christian and constantly work on the criteria that enables me to be worthy of bearing such a title.
