Shiyi (a dietetic physician or a food doctor) cared about the health of the king day and night, thinking about what kind of food he should avoid and which food was good for him. A mother is a food doctor who always cares about the health of her family, worrying if her children are sick or if they’ve eaten something wrong.
A mother feeds her children although she is hungry, and does all the household chores alone. She lives a harder life than a slave. However, she is the best teacher, who teaches her children about life. Since her existence itself becomes a great support to her children like a great mountain, it is natural that the children shed a sea of tears when their mother passes away.
