On July 23, the Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group [ASEZ WAO] members from San Francisco, California, U.S., conducted a “No More GPGP” (Reduce Plastic) cleanup near the Coyote Creek in San Jose. About 70 people participated in the activity on this day, including local members, Korean members who flew to the site to carry out various volunteer activities, BeautifySJ volunteers and officials of the Lone Bluff Neighborhood Association, a local volunteer group made up of citizens.

Members thoroughly cleaned the area around the Coyote Creek for about three hours from 10 a.m., collecting 500 kg [1,100 lbs] of household waste and 25 liters of plastic waste. As a result of this volunteer activity, ASEZ WAO, in conjunction with the Lone Bluff Neighborhood Association, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding [MOU] and plans to continue environmental protection activities for the local community.
