“I just want to sleep for a day, no more or no less.”

I go to work early in the morning and work all day. After work, I go to church and participate in the young adult group gathering. So, I often get exhausted when I return home. When I spent even day-offs with things, I felt like my body was so heavy that I wanted to sleep all day long. Last Sunday, I left home early in the morning because of the IWBA education. I was still tired, but my eyes opened wide as I heard the professor read the following verses before education.

“My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” Pr 4:20–23

When I saw the verses saying that listening closely to God’s words and keeping them within our hearts are for the health of our whole bodies, my accumulated fatigue melted away immediately. Thanks to that, I was able to concentrate in class with a clear mind. Surely, the word of God is a medicine. I always have to diligently study God’s word so that I can always be healthy, both physically and spiritually, without getting tired.
