A person who leads the members in a group or an organization is called a leader. The German word for lead leiden derived from Proto-Germanic līþaną, which means to bear, to endure and the undergo (some hardship). This can be interpreted that the role of a leader is not easy.
A person who follows directions of the leader and assists him in a proactive way so that he can govern the group well is called a follower. The German word for follower fultum was derived from the Old High German follaziohan, meaning, “to help, be at hand, support.” So, we can say that a follower is a person who understands the difficulties that the leader goes through and supports him behind the scenes.
The more there are good followers in a group, the more actively the group runs and the better result it produces. When the followers understand their leader’s will and their own roles, and devote themselves to the goal with necessary skills, the group will go straight toward the goal just like sailing before the wind.
God called us as Melchizedek warriors. So we are the spiritual followers; we devote ourselves to the gospel and follow Heavenly Father and Mother who lead the heaven’s army. As we have realized the will of God to save the whole world, and are advancing toward the kingdom of heaven while carrying out the God-given mission, we are the most successful followers who are with the greatest leader in the world, aren’t we?
