On January 21, members of ASEZ, the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, carried out a cleaning activity at Kindergarten NO. 203, Bayanzurkh District in Ulaanbaatar. This facility provides care for children temporarily living apart from their parents due to family challenges. A total of 50 people, including Korean members staying for cultural exchange, participated in the activity.
ASEZ members thoroughly cleaned the facility, focusing on living areas, wiping window frames and other hard-to-reach places. They also relocated the bookshelves from the basement to a more accessible space where children can use them. Additionally, they presented calligraphy postcards and snacks with the massages, “Thank you for giving strength and courage to many people.” The activities, which began around 1 PM, concluded around 6 PM.
Kim Jae-yeon from Dong-Eui Institute of Technology said, “As an ASEZ member, I’m very happy to participate in overseas volunteer activities and realize the joy of helping others.”
