On January 25, more than 70 members of ASEZ, the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group, from Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique, carried out the ASEZ Blue Carbon (ABC) Movement at Costa do Sol Beach in Maputo. . Korean members, who were staying in the area for cultural exchange, also participated in the initiative. The participants focused on protecting marine ecosystems as vital blue carbon1 storage areas, by collecting more than 500 kilograms (1,100 lbs) of trash, primarily plastic waste.
