On August 31, about 100 ASEZ, the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group, members from Osmania University in India, along with local citizens, participated in a plastic waste cleanup around the streets near Durgam Cheruvu. As part of the Zero Plastic 2040 campaign, the participants collected approximately 1.2 metric tons of plastic waste and trash in one hour, starting at 11:30 a.m. They also raised public awareness by holding picket signs that highlighted the dangers of plastic pollution. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation supported the activity by providing gloves and masks.

Visitors from various sectors also showed their support. Among them was G. Rajesham Goud, former Minister for Law of Andhra Pradesh, who expressed his encouragement by signing a petition in support of ASEZ’s activities.
