On May 4, the 1,895th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover was held at the Church of God in Cheongcheon, Incheon, Korea. About 420 people attended the event, including members from the Incheon Northeast Church Region and representatives from various sectors.
The blood drive was organized to help ensure a stable blood supply and share the love of the Passover through the life-saving act of blood donation. With support from the Incheon Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross, participants completed health questionnaires and blood tests before donating blood. Those who donated blood also contributed their blood donation certificates, further sharing the spirit of giving. Over a seven-hour period beginning at 9:00 a.m., 120 people successfully donated blood, resulting in the collection of 46,000 mL of blood.
Kim Young-seop, Director of the Incheon Blood Center, said, “For more than 20 years, the Church of God’s practice of love has positively changed public awareness of blood donation and contributed to saving lives.” He also presented commendations to the seven churches of the Incheon Northeast Church Region.
