Beomseo Church in Ulsan Helps Neighbors Through Emergency Flood Recovery Efforts

In mid-July, record-breaking heavy rainfall caused flooding across the nation. On July 23, members of the Church of God in Beomseo, Ulsan, Korea, carried out flood recovery efforts for households in the affected area. Lee Soon-geol, Head of Ulsan County, and Kim Hyo-jun, Head of the Beomseo-eup Office, visited the site to offer words of encouragement.

About 20 church members worked together to move furniture and appliances outside to dry, clear away mud and debris brought in by the floodwater, and wash the floors. Despite the scorching heat, the volunteers served wholeheartedly with the hope that the residents would soon regain their peaceful daily lives.
