On August 31, about 20 members of ASEZ STAR—the World Mission Society Church of God Student Volunteer Group—from the Fredericksburg branch in Virginia, United States, carried out the “Green World” project at Chatham Manor. The manor, a historic residence built in the 18th century, is a symbolic site that holds the history of both the American Revolutionary War and the Civil War.

With support from the National Park Service, the volunteers removed 50 kilograms (110 lbs) of invasive alien plants from the areas surrounding Chatham Manor, helping preserve the landmark and protect the local ecosystem.
