Administrative Staff and Age-Group Teacher Education 2025
A Mission Promised With Eternal Rewards and Blessings
Korea
The Administrative Staff and Age-Group Teacher Education 2025 was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute, bringing together more than 7,500 participants from across the nation. Those who are responsible for supplies, equipment, accounting, and general affairs, as well as age-group teachers and pastoral staff members, gathered to strengthen their sense of mission and enhance their capabilities.
The first part of the education, the worship service, began around noon with Mother’s prayer. Mother earnestly prayed that all participants would receive wisdom and understanding and faithfully fulfill the profound mission entrusted by God. Acknowledging the challenges and concerns faced in each department, She encouraged them, saying, “You are assisting the pastoral staff in advancing the completion of the gospel. Let us comfort and encourage one another with love, and may all your hopes be fulfilled within overflowing blessings.”
General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol delivered a sermon, saying, “God’s work is a mission promised with eternal heavenly rewards. Therefore, perform your duties with a strong sense of calling, and strive to understand your responsibilities and continue learning so that everything is done according to God’s will. Let us fulfill our mission with pride as fellow workers in the great work of saving the world.” (Rev 2:9–10; 22:10–12)
Following the worship service, Mother presented certificates to 25 outstanding teachers who were recognized for fostering the spiritual growth of members in each age group through education tailored to individual needs.
The second part of the event proceeded by department. Administrative staff received training on character, work ethics, and practical responsibilities, reaffirming their duties and deepening their understanding of their roles. The education for age-group teachers covered essential virtues and effective teaching methods, featuring video examples of students who grew through communication and guidance from their teachers. The sessions also provided an overview of the teacher’s role and the education system.
To enhance the overall quality of education, the World Headquarters has formed an education committee consisting of active educators. The committee regularly updates teaching materials and methods and supports teachers’ professional development and self-improvement through online training.
After the education sessions, participants expressed renewed determination to rely more on God and faithfully carry out their missions. Deaconess Jahng Mi-jin from Incheon, a children’s teacher who received an Outstanding Teacher Award, shared, “I realized that beyond treating children like my own, I must understand their way of thinking, communicate with them, and teach at their level. I want to pass on everything I have learned from God without leaving anything out.” Deaconess Ahn Gye-jeong from Goyang, who manages supplies and equipment, said, “It is easy to become indifferent when doing repetitive work, but I realized again how important my role is. I will not forget the great blessings granted even for small efforts, and I will fulfill my mission with gratitude.”
