On October 26, the first Sabbath after the Festival of Tabernacles, dedication worship services were held at the Church of God in Seongjeong, Cheonan, and the Church of God in Asan during the morning and afternoon Sabbath worship. Local members, determined to fill the new temple with the abundant fruit of the gospel through the Holy Spirit of the Festival of Tabernacles, along with the 80th Overseas Visiting Group in Korea, attended the services in a festive atmosphere. Members from the United States, Mongolia, and Japan celebrated the dedication with powerful special choirs, expressing their resolve for the completion of world evangelism.

Heavenly Mother expressed Her thanks to the members who had dedicated their prayers and efforts to the construction of the new temples and prayed that their names would shine in the book of life forever. “Believing that God has granted a larger space because there are many souls around you to guide to salvation, go beyond Cheonan and Asan and seek out our lost heavenly family members in the surrounding areas,” Mother encouraged them with a sense of mission.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol emphasized, “The purpose of Jesus coming to this earth was to pave the path to the kingdom of heaven. The role of church is to let people know this path, represented by the new covenant.” He added, “The saints of the early Church, who received the Holy Spirit of the early rain through Pentecost, devoted all their strength and efforts to proclaiming the new covenant—the good news—to humanity, who could not help but die due to sin, all the way to the ends of the earth.” He prayed that the members attending the dedication service, filled with the Holy Spirit of the latter rain through the Festival of Tabernacles, would contribute to spreading the gospel not only across the Chungcheong Province but throughout the world (Lk 19:10; Mt 9:13; Isa 59:2; Mt 26:17–28; Jer 31:31–33; Jn 13:15).

“Thanks to the bright energy of the Zion family members who attended the dedication service, not only the church but also the surrounding streets felt vibrant. I thought if we share Mother’s love with our neighbors in unity, the entire city will become brighter.” J. Baasangara from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

“As society becomes increasingly difficult and harsh, many people are struggling. I hope that not only the citizens but also foreign workers in this area can receive comfort and hope through Mother’s love at the Church of God.” Park Sahng-hoon, from Asan

Members from both domestic and abroad who celebrated the dedication also wholeheartedly wished for the two churches to play a role of a mother’s arms, warmly embracing many in their communities.

The church in Seongjeong, Cheonan, a six-story building in northwest Cheonan, and the church in Asan, a four-story building in Bangchuk-dong, Asan, are geographically close and share a living area. Both are key regions connecting north and south of Republic of Korea, driving the industrial growth of Chungnam Province. Members from both churches, who have collaborated on diverse welfare and environmental activities, such as helping neighbors during holidays and organizing blood drives, plan to unite their efforts again in 2025 to practice God’s teachings.
