The first dedication worship service of 2025 was held on January 31 at the Church of God in Sasong, Yangsan, a rapidly growing transportation hub for the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions. Following this, members of the Church in Gangseo, Busan (February 2), and the Churches in Beomseo and Buk-gu, Ulsan (both on February 3), shared the joy of their temple dedication with fellow church members from neighboring congregations.

“May God acknowledge the tireless efforts of those who dedicated themselves to the construction of this beautiful temple, and may their names shine eternally in the book of life. With hearts of love, like the Good Samaritan, may they lead many souls to salvation in Zion, a place granted by God Himself, and may the fragrance of Zion spread abundantly.”

Following the prayer of blessing, Mother, who expressed Her deep affection and joy for the children She had longed to see at every worship, encouraged the members, saying: “In an age filled with disasters and uncertainties, let us guide those who are fearful and uncertain about the future to Zion, a ‘peaceful abode’ overflowing with joy and peace, and share the hope of heaven with them.”

In his dedication sermon, General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol emphasized the profound significance of temple construction, stating, “Both the Bible and world history provide numerous examples of churches—where God dwells—being established, bringing blessings not only to the homes of the saints but also to local communities and entire nations,” and prayed for the continued growth of each church and community. He also reminded the members, saying, “Our God is the Creator who brings something from nothing. If we ever face a shortage of gospel workers or encounter difficulties in spreading the gospel, these moments become opportunities to witness God’s power firsthand. Let us trust that God will support those who walk with Him, and spread the new covenant gospel—not only throughout the nation and East Asia but to the entire world” (Ps 127:1; Hag 1:2–11; Ex 35:4–35; 36:1–6; Mt 28:18–20; Jos 14:6–13; 18:3; Mt 24:14; Ps 23:1; Jn 6:9–13).

During the dedication ceremony, the members, inspired by a greater vision of the gospel and a renewed sense of mission, made a resolute declaration, “In 2025, we will ignite the flames of the gospel from the southernmost part of the Republic of Korea, making this year a historic turning point in the salvation of humanity.”

Located in Sasong New Town, the Sasong Church in Yangsan features a modern three-dimensional architectural design that blends harmoniously with the surrounding apartment complexes.

Members of the church hope that the new temple will serve as a spiritual refuge for the local community and a meaningful space where people can find direction and purpose in life. With this vision, they have strengthened their efforts in both gospel work and volunteer service. Their contributions include donating blankets and groceries to those in need during national holidays and cleaning the area around Busan Daeyangsan Campus Station. Their ongoing dedication to community service and development has been widely recognized, earning them appreciation and certificates of recognition from a member of the National Assembly and the Chairperson of the Yangsan City Council.

The Church of God in Gangseo, Busan

They are also at the forefront of blood donation drives, sharing life and contributing to the well-being of their neighbors and the wider community. Grateful for God’s blessing in allowing the dedication services of both churches to take place on the same day, the members in Ulsan made a firm resolution: “In 2025, we will spread the gospel of the new covenant with unwavering dedication—not only to the people of Ulsan but to countless souls around the world—so that all may find comfort in the embrace of Mother, transcending national borders.”
