As new temples continue to be established across Korea, dedication services have carried on into 2026. On February 20, a dedication service was held for the Church of God in Woongsang, Yangsan. This was followed by services for the Churches of God in Yulha, Gimhae, and Miryang on February 22. Members from across the Gyeongnam region, including these three cities, gathered together to share in the joy of these meaningful occasions.

While touring each church and commending the members for their devoted efforts, Mother offered prayers that these spacious and beautiful temples would be filled with people who reveal God’s glory. At Her encouragement, “Just as Father set the example, let us diligently deliver the truth of the new covenant to those who are wandering without knowing the truth,” the members responded with a resounding “Amen.” They expressed their firm resolve to quickly preach the gospel not only to the 3.2 million residents of the province but also to people in other cities and countries.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol emphasized the spirit of the gospel, saying, “For the salvation of humanity, Jesus established the new covenant 2,000 years ago, and in this age, Christ Ahnsahnghong restored it and founded the Church of God. Just as the members of the early Church who received Jesus 2,000 years ago preached the gospel according to His teachings, today we must share the blessing of new life with all people. That is the spirit of the new covenant.” Reaffirming that churches are established for this very mission, he expressed his hope that each congregation would actively preach the gospel and raise workers who can bring salvation not only to local communities but also to the world.

The Church of God in Woongsang, Yangsan, Korea

Yangsan City has grown into a key transportation hub in the Busan–Ulsan–Gyeongnam region. Woongsang-eup, now divided into Seochang-dong, Soju-dong, Pyeongsan-dong, and Deokgye-dong, has led regional development since the 1970s through the formation of industrial complexes. The Woongsang Church, located in Soju-dong, was constructed with one basement level and four above-ground floors. The members are actively sharing God’s love within the community, including hosting a large-scale “The Words of Mother’s Love” seminar this past January. Through such efforts, they continue to expand their outreach and serve their neighbors.

The Church of God in Yulha, Gimhae, Korea

The Yulha Church was built with one basement level and three above-ground floors in the Yulha 2 District, a rapidly developing residential area. Gimhae City, with a population of approximately 530,000, continues to grow steadily, particularly in Jangyu-dong, where the church is located. Members of the Yulha Church are dedicated to improving their community through ongoing volunteer efforts such as street cleanups and support for those in welfare blind spots. In July of last year, when severe flooding occurred, members from five churches in the Gimhae and Gyeongnam regions united to assist recovery efforts in Sancheong and Hapcheon, helping restore homes and livestock facilities.

The Church of God in Miryang, Korea

Miryang City, a rural-urban complex city in Northern Gyeongnam, is well known for attractions such as Ice Valley, where ice forms even in summer, as well as for its local specialties including apples and jujubes. The Miryang Church, located near Miryang City Hall, was constructed with one basement level and three above-ground floors. The members have faithfully carried out various volunteer activities, including assisting farms during busy seasons and participating in wildfire prevention and forest cleanup. With hearts full of hope, they expressed their vision: “In Miryang, the city of sunlight, we want to shine the light of life and the light of love given by God to all citizens.”
