Is There Really God the Mother in the Bible?

Sister Curious, I heard that you visited your hometown at the beginning of the year. Do you go there often?
Yes, my mother is there, so even if it’s not a special day like a national holiday, I go to see her whenever I have time.
It seems we miss our hometown more if our mothers are there. When it comes to home, mother comes to our mind, right? Then it’s not a surprise that there is Heavenly Mother in the kingdom of heaven, home of our souls.
I was surprised a lot when I first heard about Heavenly Mother. People all call God Father. I thought that, too. But when I was told that there is also Mother in heaven, I wondered if it’s true.
Everyone may feel unfamiliar when he hears something different from what he has learned. However, God has made known the existence of Heavenly Mother since a long time ago through all creation.
How?
According to the laws of nature, all living things inherit life from their fathers and mothers. Not only we humans, but also birds flying in the sky, animals living on the ground, and even very small insects are the same. Then, what do you think is God’s will of creating all things like that?
Everything created in the world contains God’s will in it.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11

God made all things be born into the world through their mothers to let us know that the life of our souls, too, is given through our Mother. As for the fact that there is our spiritual Mother who gives us spiritual life, Jesus told us by calling God Father.

“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven…’” Matthew 6:9

Why do you think Jesus let us call God Father among many titles? If I give you a hint, father is a title used in a family.

Family, father… Didn’t He mean that we are family in God the Father? Now I can understand why we call each other brother or sister in the church.
You’re right! Father, brother, and sister are the terms used in family. But here is one more thing you need to think about. In order to compose a family, there must be a father, and the children who call him father, and a mother who gives birth to them. Above all, the expression God the Father itself proves that there exists God the Mother.
Oh, I see.
I’m not saying that only the law of nature teaches we have God the Mother. The records of the Bible, too, testify that we have God the Mother as well as God the Father.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

Man and woman were made in the image of God. Man like me was created in the male image of God, and woman like you was created in the female image of God. People call God of the male image Father. Then what should we call God of the female image?
Mother?
Correct! As you see, the Bible reveals the existence of God the Mother from the first chapter. And in Revelation, the last book of the Bible, God the Mother is prophesied to appear in our times.

“One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, ‘Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.’ And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.” Revelation 21:9–10

Apostle John recorded that the Lamb, that is, Heavenly Father has His wife, “the city of heavenly Jerusalem.” Apostle Paul called the heavenly Jerusalem, who is the bride of the Lamb, our Mother.

“But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.” Galatians 4:26

Wow, there is really Heavenly Mother in the Bible!
Yes, God the Mother exists for sure. If you want to receive eternal life, you have to realize Heavenly Father and Mother and accept Them.

“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” Revelation 22:17

I want to take the water of life. I will learn more about God the Mother.
Sounds good. The more you learn, the more you will be convinced of the existence of God the Mother.
