Heavenly Family and Heavenly Mother

The Bible teaches that the things on this earth are “a copy and shadow of what is in heaven” (Heb 8:5). Just as there is a physical family on earth, there is also a spiritual family in the kingdom of heaven. A family consists of a father, a mother, and their sons and daughters.

When we examine the Bible, we come to understand that it is through the existence of our Heavenly Mother that we have become members of the heavenly family, who will receive the blessings of the kingdom of heaven. However, Satan, who stands in enmity against Mother, slanders the truth and hinders the repentance and salvation of God’s heavenly children. The Bible portrays this unceasing spiritual battle, which takes place beyond our sight, as Jerusalem protecting Her children and driving back the forces of evil (Isa 54:11–17).

It is prophesied that when God’s children proclaim the light of Jerusalem’s glory throughout the world, the days of suffering and sorrow will come to an end. Those who are left in Zion and remain in Jerusalem until that time will be called holy by God (Isa 4:3). As we reflect on the tremendous labor of our Heavenly Father and Mother, who continually devote Their hearts to protecting Their children from Satan, I urge all of you to share in the burden of the cross that Father and Mother bear.

Father and Mother of the Heavenly Family

Two thousand years ago, Jesus taught humanity about the existence of our Father in the heavenly family.

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. . . . for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. ‘This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven . . .’” Mt 6:6–10

Here, Father refers to God, the Father of our spirits. When Jesus came to this earth, He taught all the life-giving truths of the new covenant, including the Sabbath and the Passover. Above all else, He took particular care to teach His disciples about God as their Father.

At His first coming, Jesus led people to have faith in God the Father. At His second coming, in the age of the Holy Spirit, He taught His children about the existence of Mother.

“In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ . . .” Mic 4:1–2

“But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.” Gal 4:26

The truth about Jerusalem Mother is at the core of all the truths Christ revealed when He came to this earth in the last days. The existence of our Heavenly Mother is recorded throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Nevertheless, it is only in the last days–the age of the Holy Spirit–that Father has clearly revealed Mother. Just as Eve, Adam’s wife, appeared on the sixth day of the six-day creation, Mother has appeared at the very end of God’s six-thousand-year work of redemption.

Eternal Life, the Evidence that We Are God’s Children

Since Father and Mother exist, we become Their sons and daughters, as members of the heavenly family. The Bible clearly states that we are God’s children.

“Therefore, ‘Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. And, I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.’” 2 Co 6:17–18

This passage mentions only Father and His children. However, if there is a father and there are children, there must also be a mother who gave birth to those children. In Galatians 4, the Bible clearly says that the Jerusalem above is “our Mother.” Through Mother, we have become members of the complete heavenly family. At His first and second comings, Jesus revealed the existence of both Father and Mother, helping us realize that we are spiritual brothers and sisters–members of the heavenly family. That is why the Bible says that Almighty God Himself testifies that we are God’s children.

“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ . . .” Ro 8:16–18

Many people in the world claim to be God’s children, but God’s true children have a testimony given by the Holy Spirit. Let us examine how the Holy Spirit testifies that we are God’s children.

“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 Jn 5:11–13

Those who receive Jesus, who came as the Son of God, have eternal life. Eternal life is the testimony that we are God’s children, because God has granted His children eternal life–His spiritual DNA, which belongs to Him alone. Let us find out how Jesus remains in us.

“Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life . . . Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.’” Jn 6:53–56

Those who eat and drink Jesus’ flesh and blood–that is, the Passover bread and wine–receive eternal life because Jesus remains in them, and the Holy Spirit testifies that they are God’s children. It is God who has established the principle of creation that allows children to receive life by inheriting the flesh and blood of their parents. God, who has designed all living things to be born through their parents, especially through their mothers, says that His heavenly children have eternal life. This is evidence that there is a Mother who grants eternal life to Her children.

Without a mother, this world cannot be a world of life; wherever there is life, there is a mother. Likewise, the kingdom of heaven created by God is a world of eternal life because God the Mother is there.

The Devil, the Enemy of God the Mother

Nevertheless, even today, there are people who fabricate all kinds of reasons to hinder the truth and prevent others from believing in God the Mother. In Genesis, God foretold that this would happen.

“‘And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.’” Ge 3:15

Ever since the Garden of Eden, there has been enmity between the serpent and the woman, and between the serpent’s offspring and the woman’s offspring. This spiritual war between Satan and God the Mother continues all the way through the book of Revelation.

“Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. . . . Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring–those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.” Rev 12:7–9; 17

The great dragon refers to Satan the devil, the ancient serpent who deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden. Satan seeks to deceive souls and lead them to death, whereas the woman seeks to give eternal life; therefore, their purposes can never be aligned. Just as God declared, “I will put enmity between you and the woman,” Satan continues to hinder Heavenly Mother and Her children until the very end. The deceiver, who caused us to sin and be cast down to this earth, is still waging a spiritual battle against us–the rest of the woman’s offspring, who keep God’s commandments and hold fast their testimony about Jesus. We must bear in mind that the history that began in Genesis continues to this day, just as prophesied in the book of Revelation.

The Mission of Watchmen Who Display the Glory of Jerusalem

The fiercer the spiritual war becomes, the more fervently we must proclaim the glory of Jerusalem Mother, for our battle is not physical, but spiritual (Eph 6:12).

God promised victory to the woman’s offspring when He declared that they would crush the serpent’s head. However, if we do not shine the light of Jerusalem’s glory and the light of truth, no one will be able to find Mother amid the darkness. I urge all of you to devote yourselves to proclaiming Heavenly Mother, so that all people may see the light of Jerusalem and come to Zion.

“I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” Isa 62:6–7

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. ‘Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip [carried in the arms, NASB]. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy . . . ‘Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?’ . . . The children of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.” Isa 60:1–8; 14

The Bible says that Jerusalem will be radiant with joy when she sees her sons come from afar and her daughters carried in the arms. It is prophesied that those who oppress Jerusalem will ultimately come bowing before her and all who despise her will fall at her feet, even amidst the ongoing spiritual war, with one side constantly hindering the truth and the other side proclaiming Jerusalem Mother day and night.

It would be wonderful if everything proceeded smoothly. However, God said that a spiritual war would arise; therefore, it is only natural that there will be those who despise and persecute Jerusalem, exactly as prophesied. We should not be afraid of them at all. All we have to do is faithfully fulfill our role as watchmen, standing on the walls of Jerusalem until the prophetic moment comes when the glory of Jerusalem is revealed throughout the world. Let us never be silent day or night. Whether people listen or fail to listen, we must diligently proclaim the good news that eternal life is granted through faith in the Spirit and the Bride, the Saviors in the age of the Holy Spirit.

Until the Days of Jerusalem’s Sorrow Ends

“Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end. Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly.” Isa 60:20–22

Although there may be opposition from those who oppress and despise Jerusalem, the day of victory will surely come, just as it is prophesied: “Your days of sorrow will end.” Following the teachings of God, we just need to display the glory of Jerusalem to make the world brighter and lead people to the kingdom of heaven. As the light of truth of our Heavenly Mother shines forth, there will be a complete fulfillment of the prophecy that nations and kings will see the light and come to Her and that God’s children will fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests.

Just as the sound of a trumpet serves as a signal for whether an army should advance or retreat, God’s people pay close attention to the sound of prophecy. We must not commit the foolish act of abandoning the right path we are meant to follow because of those who oppose the truth and try to shake our faith, just as prophesied in the Bible.

God has opened the way to eternal life and salvation for us. According to the prophecy, “He will teach us His ways,” Father Ahnsahnghong has taught us all the truths that lead to salvation. He has also left behind a handwritten note saying, “I follow Mother,” repeatedly emphasizing the truth about God the Mother, who is the complete fulfillment of the new covenant, among the many truths of the new covenant. Who but God could rightly reveal the truths contained in the Bible? So, Father has clearly taught the truth about Mother that no one else in the world had been able to uncover. There is no church established by Father other than the Church of God that follows the truth of God the Mother and keeps the New Covenant Passover, through which we partake of God’s flesh and blood.

We have our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, through whom we have become members of the complete heavenly family. We have come to understand that we are brothers and sisters in the heavenly family, and we are now able to fully obey the command to be united together and love one another in Zion. This is the absolute evidence showing that when we enter the eternal kingdom of heaven, the Holy Spirit Himself will say, “You are indeed God’s children.”

The devil, our evil enemy, will continue trying to hinder the glory of Jerusalem Mother until the very end. Yet God’s children are meant to hear the voice of Father and Mother and come into the light of truth. There is no need to be discouraged and wonder, “Why do people find it so hard to accept this perfect truth?” As watchmen of Jerusalem, all we need to do is proclaim Mother to as many people as possible. I earnestly ask all of you, members of the heavenly family, to preach the gospel to Samaria and even to the ends of the earth and to display the glory of Jerusalem even more. By doing so, let us quickly find all of our lost brothers and sisters and complete the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.
