In Search of Heavenly Mother

Wherever the gospel of the new covenant is preached, our spiritual brothers and sisters are returning to Zion one after another. Many people from all over the world, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or race, come to Zion because they have seen the light of Heavenly Jerusalem Mother and heard Her voice.

God has united a mother and a child into one body. From the beginning, a mother’s body and the body of her child are connected as one through the umbilical cord. Since they are originally one body, a mother gives unconditional love to her children, not based on any logical or rational judgment. In fact, we can see that whenever children find themselves in a difficult situation, they long for their mother.

These principles are a copy and shadow that show the relationship between Heavenly Mother and Her children (Heb 8:5; Rev 4:11). Only when mankind seeks and receives God the Mother, can we receive eternal life and salvation in Her love.

Age of Spiritual Famine

In Revelation 22, the last chapter of the Bible, God gave mankind an assignment.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. Rev 22:17

The task that God has given mankind on earth is to seek the Spirit and the Bride and receive the water of life from Them. In the Bible, the water of life refers to the word of God that revives our souls (Isa 55:1–6). The water of life, which is directly connected to eternal life, is a holy and precious gift that we can receive only when we go to the Spirit and the Bride.

God came from heaven to this earth to save mankind. When He came in the name of Jesus 2,000 years ago, He gave the water of life, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink,” and “Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (Jn 7:37–39; 4:13–14). However, most people did not come to God because they did not recognize God who gives the water of life.

“You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” Jn 5:39–40

This unfortunate situation is repeated in this age. The prophet Amos prophesied that many people would suffer from a famine of hearing the words of God.

“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD. Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it. In that day the lovely young women and strong young men will faint because of thirst.” Am 8:11–13

In the last days, many people stagger and wander from north to east, searching for the word of God, the water of life, but they cannot find it. For this reason, the whole world is suffering from a spiritual famine. It is because they have not found the Spirit and the Bride, who give the water of life. Just because you want the water of life does not mean you can receive it unconditionally. We must recognize the One who gives us the water of life and come to Him. This is why the Bible emphasizes that we must press on to know God (Hos 6:3).

Jerusalem Mother, the Source of the Water of Life

If we want to receive the water of life in obedience to God’s word, we must first seek the Spirit and the Bride. The Spirit is the same as the Father and the Son according to the Trinity. He is God the Father. Then, who is the Bride of the Spirit?

Just as we instinctively seek water when we are thirsty, our souls are unconsciously longing for the Spirit and the Bride who give us the water of life. Today, however, many Christians say they know God the Father who is the Spirit, but they do not know the Bride who gives the water of life to mankind along with the Spirit. Without receiving the Spirit and the Bride, we cannot realize the truth of salvation, nor can we receive the water of life or the blessings of heaven.

The Bible testifies about the Bride of the Spirit as follows.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. Rev 21:9–10

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. Gal 4:26

The Bride, the Wife of the Lamb, is God the Mother represented by the heavenly Jerusalem. Those who receive God the Mother together with God the Father can receive the water of life.

In the Bible, the source of the water of life, which all mankind searches for, is repeatedly prophesied.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. Rev 22:1–4

Apostle John, who wrote the book of Revelation, said that the water of life flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb. The throne of God also refers to Mother, the heavenly Jerusalem.

At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the LORD, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of the LORD. No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts. Jer 3:17

Jerusalem, the throne of God who is the Lamb, is the source of the water of life. The prophecy that all nations will stream to Jerusalem to receive the water of life means that many people will seek Heavenly Mother, the reality of the prophetic Jerusalem.

From God Elohim expressed as “Us” in the book of Genesis 1 to the Spirit and the Bride in the book of Revelation 22, the message God gave to mankind through numerous references in the Bible is to come to God the Father and God the Mother who give us the water of life. In order to receive the water of life, we must go to God the Father and God the Mother who created us in the beginning.

God the Father Leads Us to the Spring of the Water of Life

To save all mankind, Mother is constantly giving us the water of life.

It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttime—a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light. On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter. Zec 14:7–8

Throughout the Old and New Testaments, the Bible tells us that Jerusalem is the source of the water of life. Today, more than eight billion people live on the earth, but most of them do not know the existence of Mother, who is represented by the heavenly Jerusalem. There is no way to receive the water of life unless we know God the Mother who is the source of the water of life. This is why God the Father leads His children, who are staggering in the spiritual famine, to God the Mother.

“Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Rev 7:15–17

God the Father, who is the Lamb, Himself becomes our Shepherd and leads us to Jerusalem Mother, the spring of the water of life. Just as Adam taught mankind the meaning of a mother by naming his wife Eve (life) (Ge 3:20, footnote), only God the Father can guide us to Jerusalem, the spring of the water of life, and make known to us about the existence of our Mother. So the prophet Isaiah wrote that Jehovah would establish Jerusalem and make her the praise of the earth.

[A]nd give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. Isa 62:7

As prophesied, Christ Ahnsahnghong, who is the Lamb, has revealed to us our Heavenly Mother who is the spring of the water of life and led us to Her. As a result, our souls do not have to suffer from hunger or thirst ever again. Without Father’s love and sacrifice, we would not have found Mother, the spring of the water of life, and would have still been suffering from spiritual famine.

There are still souls in the world who are looking for the spring of the water of life. They are eagerly seeking Heavenly Mother, Heavenly Father, and their spiritual brothers and sisters, as well as their spiritual home, heaven. Just as our Father has led us to our Mother who is the source of the water of life, so we, too, should do our best to lead these lost souls to our Heavenly Mother.

Children Coming to Jerusalem’s Light of Glory

When we arise and shine, the glory of Heavenly Jerusalem Mother is revealed. The Bible describes the glory that Jerusalem Mother will receive as follows.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm. . . . Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?” Isa 60:1–8

When the light of Jerusalem’s glory shines, the nations come to the light and Her children come from afar, being carried on the arm of Jerusalem. We should make efforts to preach the light of the glory of Jerusalem and lead our lost brothers and sisters into the arms of Heavenly Father and Mother. Even though the light shines on them, those who are not the children of Heavenly Father and Mother will close their eyes, ears, and their hearts, but all the sons and daughters of God will come to the source of the water of life and become refreshed and receive spiritual life.

I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. Isa 62:6–7

God wants all mankind to be saved through the water of life, and has entrusted His children with the mission of watchmen, commanding them to display the glory of Jerusalem. This is God’s administration and spiritual strategy for saving mankind.

We must not remain silent for the work of proclaiming the glory of Jerusalem in Samaria and to the ends of the earth. God’s people listen to God’s voice (Jn 10:25–28). The gospel is now being preached to the ends of the earth, and the children of God are returning to Zion in search of Jerusalem Mother even from as far as the opposite side of the earth. However, there are still souls who are looking for Mother, so we must do our best to make sure that the water of life is delivered to them. If there is no one telling them who the water of life comes from and how to receive the water of life, they will not be able to come out of their spiritual famine.

[F]or, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Ro 10:13–15

We are happy that we have met Father and Mother who are the Spirit and the Bride. We are truly happy that we have found the truth and have a promised, bright future as the heavenly royal priesthood.

The members of Zion all around the world have found Heavenly Mother and dwell in Mother’s blessing. Let us not keep Her love and grace only to ourselves, but share them with all people by preaching the glory of Jerusalem to the whole world. Keeping in mind that there are still many souls who want to find Mother and are waiting for Mother’s voice, let’s knock on their hearts with the words of the water of life. Preaching is encouraging people to listen, saying, “Would you like to hear Mother’s voice?” I would like to ask you to please Father and Mother by diligently preaching the word of the water of life and lead them into the arms of Heavenly Mother.
