Seek Me

God told people to “seek me.” To seek God, we must know about Him. Through all the clues from the Bible, we need to find out where God dwells and what truth He brings when He comes to this earth. Only then can we find God and receive Him properly.

God has come to this earth, but many churches in the world do not yet know God or seek Him. If the Bible says God dwells in Zion, we must find out what Zion refers to, and if the Bible says God proclaims the truth of the New Covenant in Zion, we must find the One who establishes the New Covenant (Isa 33:20–22; Mic 4:1–2). If the Bible tells us that the Lamb appears along with His Bride, we must find the true church that preaches God the Mother—the Bride—as well as God the Father—the Lamb (Rev 19:7–9; 21:9–10). Let’s find God by examining the words of the Bible one by one.

Seek God

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isa 55:6–9

The Bible urges us to seek God and come to Him, saying that God’s thoughts are different from human thoughts. So, we must follow God’s thoughts and find God. God’s way of giving salvation is also different than people think. This is proven by the history of Gideon who defeated 135,000 enemy soldiers with 300 men.

The Midianite army of 135,000 men greatly outnumbered Gideon’s army of 32,000. However, God reduced Gideon’s army to 10,000, telling him to send home those who trembled with fear. Then God said there were still too many men and reduced their number, choosing only 300 men. In obedience to God’s command, Gideon and his 300 warriors went to the Midianite camp at night, each with a trumpet and a torch hidden in a jar. When they reached the enemy camp, they blew the trumpets, broke the jars, and held up the torches, shouting a battle cry, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” The Midianite soldiers were so surprised that they began to attack one another, mistaking their comrades for the enemy. This was humanly impossible, but as a result of following God’s thoughts, Gideon’s army of 300 defeated the huge Midianite army and won a great victory without a single casualty (Judges 7).

The Exodus event also shows the difference between God’s thoughts and human thoughts. When the Israelites came to the desert after their liberation from Egypt, they faced a dilemma where the Red Sea was in front of them and the Egyptian army was pursuing them from behind. They did not know what to do and began pouring out their complaints. At that moment, Moses cried out to God, and God said to him, “Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea.” When Moses stretched out his staff over the Red Sea, the waters of the sea were divided, forming a wall for them on their right and on their left, and a path was made through the sea. God carried out the great work that people could not even imagine, so they were able to cross the sea as on dry land (Exodus 14).

When all sides—front, back, right, and left—are blocked, the only way out is upward—heaven. Even when you feel like you are trapped in a room that is enclosed by walls on all sides, God has an answer for you. Taking a lesson from history, we must always trust God and faithfully follow the Bible that records God’s thoughts.

Press on to know God

To seek God, we should follow God’s thoughts and press on to know what kind of being God is. Unless we understand God correctly, we cannot expect to receive salvation and eternal life.

“Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth . . . For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.” Hos 6:3–6

God desires all people to be saved and wants us to know about Him, the Savior, above all else. Knowing about God is not easy as it sounds. That’s why God has given people the Bible that enables them to know and understand Him.

“You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” Jn 5:39–40

We can know God’s thoughts when we read the Bible. It’s because the Bible contains God’s thoughts and His plan of salvation for mankind. So, God has commanded us not to add anything to the words of the prophecy of this book or take away anything from them. As for those who do not believe the prophecies of the Bible and add their own thoughts, it is difficult for them to receive God. We must forsake our own thoughts and follow the words of the Bible that contains God’s thoughts. Only then can we have God’s thoughts and find God.

Jesus came in a manner contrary to people’s expectations

God said, “I will come to this earth in the flesh and dwell with you. So, seek me.” The Bible prophesied about the incarnation of God as follows:

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6

The Bible says that Mighty God, Everlasting Father, is born as a baby. This prophecy shows that God will come in the flesh. According to this prophecy, about 700 years later, God was born on this earth with the name of Jesus. The apostles, who believed the prophecy, accepted Jesus as God and followed Him.

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God . . . Php 2:5–6

The apostles recognized Jesus as God, but unfortunately most Jews who had believed in God failed to receive Jesus, who came as a man, and rejected Him. The Bible records God’s thoughts. So, if they had studied and followed the words of the Bible, they would have been able to meet God who came to save them. However, they looked at God with their own thoughts and judgments, so they could not see God’s true identity.

They failed to recognize Christ who came as a feeble human being and had nothing in His appearance that they should desire Him (Isa 53:1–2). If He had been born in a gorgeous palace or into a noble family, they would probably have believed in Him. Contrary to their expectations, however, Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem and grew up as a poor carpenter’s son in a shabby little village named Nazareth. All the physical circumstances surrounding Jesus, such as His birthplace, family, education, and job, caused them to stumble.

“I and the Father are one.” Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” “We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” Jesus answered them, “. . . Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” Jn 10:30–38

Jesus told them He was God the Father, but they tried to stone Him, saying, “You, a mere man, claim to be God.” God, who is holy and great, left the glory of heaven behind and came to this earth to save our souls. However, people were so ignorant of God. If they had paid attention to the prophecies, following God’s thoughts, they would have met God, their Savior. That’s why Jesus said, “Believe what I do, even though you do not believe in me.”

God the Father and God the Mother

The Bible says God will appear a second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him (Heb 9:28). God said again, “Seek me.” So, those who sincerely love God must seek God, right? Without seeking God who is to come again in this age, no one can expect salvation.

We need to know when, where, how, and why God will come again, and what He will bring. Only then can we find God. The Bible has prophesied that God will not come to this earth alone, but that God the Father and God the Mother will come together in the last days.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. Rev 22:17

Some people insist that the Spirit refers to God and the bride refers to God’s people. However, God’s people are actually sinners who long for God’s salvation. A sinner cannot save another sinner or give him or her life. Therefore, the Spirit and the Bride who give the water of life are Gods (Rev 21:6–7).

To receive the water of life, we must find the Spirit and the Bride—God the Father and God the Mother—and meet Them. If God came in an extraordinary appearance and spoke powerfully enough for all people around the world to hear God’s voice, everyone would find God easily. However, 2,000 years ago, God came to a shabby place like Mark’s upper room, not an influential church acknowledged by the world, and dwelt with His people in an ordinary appearance contrary to people’s expectations, and so He did in this age. That’s why the Bible says that God’s way of salvation is far different from man’s.

The Bible clearly testifies to the existence of God the Father and God the Mother.

“Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name . . .’ ” Mt 6:8–9

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. Gal 4:26

We have God the Mother as well as God the Father. Father and Mother tell us to “come!” They have called us and made us Their children by giving us Their flesh and blood through the New Covenant, so we can have eternal life.

Mayflies live for only one day because they have inherited their mother’s gene that determines their lifespan—just a single day. Dogs have an average lifespan of 15 years because they have inherited their mother’s gene that affects their lifespan which is limited to 15 years. It is the same with humans. Although they want to live for eternity, they cannot help but have a limited lifespan that has been inherited from their mothers.

We have received the promise of eternal life. This means there is God the Mother who lives forever, right? If our Mother were not the immortal God, we would never be able to expect eternal life. However, many churches in the world do not seek God the Mother, and they just say that Mother does not exist. Without seeking God the Mother, no one can receive eternal life from Her. Those who receive the flesh and blood of Heavenly Father and Mother through the New Covenant Passover can have eternal life and live forever (Jn 6:53–55; Lk 22:7–20). To take us to the eternal world where there is no death or sorrow or pain, God tells us to seek God the Mother.

The Spirit Himself testifies that we are God’s children

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Ro 8:16–18

The Bible says that the Spirit Himself testifies that we are God’s children. Why does the Spirit testify that we are God’s children?

There is a stream called Tancheon, which flows into the Hangang River. Let me tell you a legend about the stream. In ancient Korea, there lived a man named Samcheongabja (three thousand gabjas) Dong Bang Sak. One gabja refers to 60 years, and three thousand gabjas refer to 180,000 years. A heavenly messenger was commanded to capture Dong Bang Sak. Following the command to bring him to heaven, the messenger asked around and searched for him. Hearing that he often went fishing at a certain stream, the messenger devised a trap to catch him. Every day, the messenger went to the stream and washed black, hard charcoals diligently. Dong Bang Sak, who had been curiously watching it, approached the messenger and asked him why he was washing the charcoals so diligently. Then the messenger said he was washing the charcoals to make them white because they were too black. Then Dong Back Sak said, “In all my 180,000 years, I’ve never seen a person like you,” and he laughed uproariously. The messenger immediately recognized he was Dong Bang Sak, and took him straight to heaven so he would stand before God. Since then, the stream where the messenger washed the charcoals has been called Tancheon (the Charcoal Stream).

It was difficult to find Dong Bang Sak just by looking at the outward appearance, but the words he said, “In all my 180,000 years,” became a clue for recognizing him. God’s children have a testimony, which is eternal life they have inherited from God the Mother. Those who do not have the gene of eternal life from God the Mother can neither be acknowledged as God’s children nor enter the Kingdom of Heaven, no matter how diligently they have prophesied in the name of the Lord and performed many miracles (Mt 7:21–23).

There are many Christians today, but they do not seek God. Through the prophecies of the Bible, they have to find the Spirit and the Bride. However, they just reject God, saying, “How can God come as a human being?” just as the Jews did 2,000 years ago.

Where should we go to find God the Father and God the Mother? The Bible tells us that God dwells in Zion (Ps 132:13–14). Zion is the place where God’s people believe in God the Father and God the Mother, who have come according to the prophecies of the Bible, and preach Them. We are now in the Church of God—the only church in the world that preaches God the Mother as well as God the Father and keeps the New Covenant Passover which enables us to become God’s children by receiving the flesh and blood of God. The Bible testifies that the blessings of the forgiveness of sins and eternal life are given to those who dwell in Zion (Isa 33:20–24; Ps 133:1–3).

From Genesis to Revelation, Heavenly Father and Mother deliver a message to Their children, “Seek me.” Only those who seek God earnestly can meet God. Satan tries to deny the existence of God the Mother and attempts to lead the children of heaven astray with man-made rules. Despite many hindrances, however, we have come safely to Zion and met God by the grace of Father and Mother. Moreover, we have received the mission of preaching the gospel to all people. I earnestly ask you, our heavenly family members in Zion, to faithfully carry out this precious mission, so many people can find God the Father and God the Mother and go back to Heaven, their spiritual home.
