On March 11, about a month before the Passover, the dedication service of Namyang Church in Hwaseong was held alongside the Third Day worship. Located in Namyang-eup, home to the Hwasung Special City Hall, the church stands in a key area in the western part of Hwasung—a city even larger in area than Seoul. This is the seventh church established in Hwasung, following others in Dongtan New Town, Byeongjeom-dong, and Bongdam-eup. News of the dedication ceremony drew heartfelt congratulations from members and residents across the region, including nearby Osan and Pyeongtaek.

During the service, Mother praised the united prayers and devotion of the members that led to the completion of the new sanctuary. She prayed that the spacious and beautiful church would be filled with spiritual fruits and that God’s blessings would overflow in every aspect of the members’ lives. She also encouraged the members, saying, “Let us live in harmony and unity, share the message of salvation with our neighbors, and spread happiness together.”

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol said, “The new covenant, established by God Himself, is the only way for mankind to be acknowledged as God’s people and receive heavenly citizenship. It is the mission of the members to diligently share this truth with those who have not yet heard the message of life.” He expressed hope that the new sanctuary would become a gospel stronghold that brings the blessings of the new covenant to Hwasung’s one million residents. He also stated, “Remembering the great blessings we have received from God, let us always have a positive mindset and speak words that strengthen and bless each other, so that Zion will be filled with the sounds of joy and singing, just as God desires” (Lk 22:7–20; Php 3:20).

Hwasung, which recently gained “special city” status, has seen rapid development through the establishment of industrial complexes such as Dongtan 1 and 2 New Towns and the Gyeonggi Hwasung Bio Valley. With the recent opening of the Seohae Line Double-Track Railway and plans for a Semiconductor Expressway connecting Hwasung, Yongin, and Anseong, the city is expected to experience even greater population growth. Church members expressed their commitment, saying, “Following Mother’s words, we will spread the hope of heaven not only throughout Namyang-eup but across all of Hwasung. We will make Zion a place where anyone can visit, feel loved, and be comforted.”
