Force to Lift up

In order for an airplane, which is made up of heavy metal, to fly in the air, there must be a combination of various kinds of forces such as momentum made by engines and resistance made by the air. Here a force to lift up, also known as lift force, is included. Lift force is produced not just by having wings, but it happens when there is a certain amount of speed. The reason the airplane runs on the runway with its fastest speed is to gain lift force. If it moves slowly, it cannot have enough speed to fly up in the air, bearing its weight. Therefore, it runs as fastest as it can and flies little by little with the energy produced by that.

For God’s children who dream of a brilliant flight to the heavenly kingdom on this earth, a lift force is needed, too. That force is not just given naturally by only having the hope for heaven. There must be an active movement to achieve that hope. Let us be equipped with faith and love, and run with all our strength toward the kingdom of eternal life!

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Col 3:1–3
