To Prosper in All Things and Be in Good Health
Kim Eun-yeong From Incheon, Korea

I didn’t understand much about the Bible at first, but one thing I was sure of: I needed to keep the Passover. With that conviction alone, I received the blessing of a new life immediately. At the time, I wasn’t earnestly seeking God, nor was I particularly drawn to the Bible, so my spiritual understanding was slow to unfold. I often found myself admiring those whose faith seemed steady and deep. Perhaps that’s why, when the truth—that our God the Father and Mother truly exist—finally reached my heart, I was overcome with joy. I didn’t know what to do with the feeling; it was so immense, so pure. In that moment, one verse caught my eye:
Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3 John 1:2
It felt like a personal letter from God—words from the Parents of our souls, written just for me. Even though I was still lacking in faith, They wanted me to thrive, to be strong, to prosper in all things. They were cheering me on, loving me unconditionally. I felt truly grateful for the love of our Heavenly Parents.
Since that day, whenever I grow weary or face hardship, I return to that verse. I recite it to myself and renew my vow: To endure every trial with courage so that I may bring joy to God, who never ceases to love me without measure.
