This happened when I was on my gospel mision in Spain. A deaconess came from Korea to preach the gospel for a month.
I was worried that she would not be accustomed to unfamiliar circumstances as she was not good at speaking Spanish. Unlike my expectation, however, she preached the word of God until late at night, always wearing a smile and showing no signs of fatigue. I wondered how the deaconess could be so eager to preach without rest, and I asked her how. Then she opened the Bible and showed me this verse.
“. . . but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” Isa 40:31
She said that she didn’t grow weary or faint but gained new strength as she always put her hope in Heavenly Father and Mother. Hearing her say that, I engraved the Bible verse deep in my heart. Whenever I get tired and weary, I remember that verse. Then I feel a surge of energy within me as if I have taken vitamins. I would like to share the word of God, which works like spiritual vitamins, with my beloved brothers and sisters in Zion.
