My Sheep Listen to My Voice

The owner of the hair salon I used to visit recently accepted the truth. When she first heard about God the Mother, she was shocked and said, “I’ve been running this salon in this same spot for ten years, and I’ve never once heard about God the Mother.” Hearing that, I was even more surprised—there were still souls who had never heard the truth, not even once.

Her family used to gather every Sunday at a large church in Seoul, but after witnessing severe corruption, including hereditary pastoral leadership, they decided to attend different churches near their homes. The salon owner herself, discouraged by pastors whose lives seemed far from God’s teachings, moved to another church—only to find that it was no different. As she continued listening to sermons, she began to wonder, “Is this really the word of God?” On top of that, the atmosphere felt more like a social club than a community centered on the Bible. It was during this time of spiritual confusion that she met us at her salon.

Every time we visited, she welcomed us with a bright smile and listened attentively to the truth about the Sabbath, the Passover, and more. She understood the message well and once said, “I’ve read the Bible ten times in the past fifty years, but now it feels like I’m truly reading it for the first time.” She even recalled seeing obelisks and church symbols during a trip to Rome and realizing they originated from sun. She shook her head, wondering why she didn’t question it more back then.

We boldly testified about Heavenly Father and Mother—our Saviors in the Age of the Holy Spirit. Through the Bible, she confirmed the prophecy that God would come in the flesh to save humanity. Her heart opened completely, and she received the blessing of a new life.

Deeply devoted to caring for her elderly mother, she was especially moved by the love of Heavenly Father and Mother. When she spoke about how thankful she was to God for restoring the truth during difficult times, her eyes filled with tears—undeniably the heart of a heavenly daughter.

Before she became our spiritual sister, she had expressed concern about discussing religion in the salon, despite being a churchgoer. But after learning the value of worship, she began closing her shop early on worship days to keep God’s laws. She even began sharing the truth with others. One day, when a customer remarked that the Sabbath was an outdated Old Testament law, she confidently explained that we must keep the New Covenant Sabbath that Jesus Himself showed by example. Wanting to share the truth with her family who hadn’t yet accepted it, she began waking up early to study the Word more thoroughly.

Hearing her say that God’s word is “sweeter than honeycomb” and that she wants to study it even if it means staying up all night, I couldn’t help but think: How many more souls are out there wandering spiritually, yearning for the words of life like she once did? I’m sure our Heavenly Mother is still praying earnestly for all Her children to return to Zion.

With renewed courage, I want to proclaim God’s voice more boldly and find all our lost heavenly family members, bringing joy to our Heavenly Father and Mother.
