The Fruit of Patience

Participating in the gospel work in the continent of Europe has been accompanied by the love and blessings of Heavenly Father and Mother. Patience is one of many things I have learned while preaching diligently. Just as farmers grow and harvest crops with patience, Father and Mother have taught me the patience it takes for one soul to receive a new life.

While preaching the gospel diligently in London, I had not been able to bear fruit for a long time. Many people showed interest in the words of God when we preached in the street, but that was just it. Many people did not keep their promise to meet again. Also, even after studying the Bible several times, many people were hesitant to start their life of faith because of their anxieties of life. Even so, I was not discouraged because I believed in Mother’s words, “The gospel will go well in Europe, too.” I prayed earnestly with Zion evangelists and kept sowing the seeds of the word of God. Heavenly Mother’s word was true. At God’s appointed time, beautiful souls started to come into Zion. Among them, I would like to share about one sister.

She showed much interest in the truth about Heavenly Mother since the first time we met. She expressed much excitement to meet again. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, we could not meet for a few months. While waiting for the time we could meet again, we prayed earnestly to God. God answered to our prayers without delay. Finally, we met again and she could study God’s words in Zion after her classes at university. Surprisingly, her university was about a fifteen-minute walk from Church. Having been born in Romania, the sister grew up in a Christian denomination with many man-made traditions which were engraved in all aspects of their culture. So at first it was not easy for her to realise the truth. However, good thing is that before we met her, she and her fiancé had been wondering about the existence of God the Mother. She studied for about five months, and finally she was filled with confidence in the truth and received a new life in the name of the Saviour in the age of the Holy Spirit.

Before long, as she finished her studies, she went back to her home country, Romania. We did not know if she would be able to return to London. Surprisingly, soon after, she came back and settled in London by the grace of God. She deeply gave thanks to God and was able to study diligently and attend worship services regularly, so she grew in faith and preached to all her acquaintances. Among them, she preached first to her fiancé. Her fiancé received the truth with a joyful mind after studying the Bible for a few weeks. She also led her mother and brother to receive a new life and kept the spring feasts all together. And she led another friend to Zion in Romania.

Mother’s words, “The gospel will go well in Europe, too,” are being fulfilled quickly now. As gospel workers, all we need is prayer, patience, and strong faith that God helps. We will continue to sow the seeds of the gospel by praying with faith and persevering until the day when we find all our heavenly family in Europe and lead them into the arms of God. I really give thanks to God for granting me the privilege to find the firstborn scattered in Europe.
