On July 27, around 100 ASEZ members from Albizu University in Puerto Rico, along with local residents, planted 200 mangrove trees at Playa Piñones. ASEZ is the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group. Mangroves grow along coastlines and are known for their exceptional ability to store carbon, contributing to the achievement of carbon neutrality. or the activity, the San Juan Bay Estuary Program, a nonprofit organization in Puerto Rico, provided the trees and planting shovels.
