On August 8, 15 members from ASEZ WAO—the Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group—participated in the Mother’s Forest Project by planting 20 Eugenia saplings at Taman Widuri National Secondary School in Sungai Jawi. The Eugenia, an evergreen species, is known for its glossy, fragrant leaves. With care and dedication, volunteers planted the saplings with the goal of reducing carbon emissions and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the school campus. Students from the school also took part in the activity, adding special meaning to the event. In recognition of the effort, the school principal presented ASEZ WAO with a certificate of appreciation.
