Three Churches in Birtamod and Two Others in Nepal Host the 1,614th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover
Making the World Better Place Through Blood Drive
On April 2, the 1,614th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover was held at the Church of God in Birtamod, Nepal. The event was organized at the request of the Nepal Red Cross Society Blood Transfusion Service Center, Jhapa. In addition to the Birtamod Church, members from the Damak and Jhapa Budhabare Churches also participated, bringing the total number of volunteers to about 250. Together, they donated a total of 41,500 milliliters of blood.
Ek Raj Karki, a member of the Koshi Provincial Assembly, expressed his appreciation, saying, “Blood donation is one of the most important acts of service in society and saves many lives. I sincerely thank the Church for this meaningful activity.”
