Gyeonggi Bucheon Church Region Holds ‘Forest of Hope’ Campaign at Dodang Arboretum

On May 22, about 300 members from the Gyeonggi Bucheon Church Region took part in the Forest of Hope campaign at Dodang Arboretum in Bucheon. As part of the Church of God’s Global Hope Challenge, the participants began the event by reading the “Intergenerational Joint Declaration,” reaffirming their commitment to protecting the environment and encouraging all generations to join efforts toward a sustainable global ecosystem. For about an hour, they cleaned every corner of Dodang Arboretum, collecting approximately two tons of forest debris to help prevent wildfires and pest infestations. In addition, a panel exhibition was held to raise public awareness of the importance of forest conservation, highlighting issues such as desertification and biodiversity loss.
