On July 20, about 70 people—including members from the First and Second Churches of God in Edmonton, Canada, as well as local residents—took part in the “Forest of Hope” campaign at Rundle Park. The campaign, aimed at reducing carbon emissions through tree planting, was part of the Church of God’s “Global Hope” challenge. With support from Edmonton City Hall, which provided trees, shovels, and gloves, volunteers planted a total of 498 trees over the course of two hours.
