On January 25, the Church of God in Bukmunro, Cheongju, Korea, held a seminar titled “The Words of Mother’s Love That Bring Peace to Families and Communities.” Around 650 people attended the event, including Church members and local residents from the Cheongju area, as well as representatives from the political, business, media, and education sectors. During the opening ceremony, Kim Jin-gyun, former president of the Chungcheongbuk-do Federation of Teachers’ Associations, delivered congratulatory remarks, saying, “I hope the Words of Mother’s Love will spread throughout the world and help create a warmer and more peaceful society.”
The presenters explained, based on scientific and psychological evidence, the positive effects that the nine expressions featured in “The Words of Mother’s Love” campaign can have on our lives. At a time when individualism is becoming increasingly prevalent, attendees reflected on the important role that warm and considerate words can play in facilitating communication and fostering a culture of mutual consideration among members of society. They also resolved to put these expressions into practice in their daily lives.
