We all miss our spiritual home Heaven and long to go there, because it is a place full of happiness. In order to go to Heaven, we need to walk on the right path during our life on this earth. The Israelites were only able to reach Canaan after walking for forty years in the wilderness. In the same way, we can only reach Heaven after walking the path of faith in the spiritual desert. This is the same path that Father has walked and that Mother is still walking to this day.
We have been cast down to this earth because of our sins. God allows us to go through a process called “preaching” on our journey back to Heaven. Through the process of preaching, God helps us realize the sacrifice and love of our Heavenly Father and Mother who regard one soul as more valuable than the entire world. Through this process, we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Heavenly Mother is continuously sending us support and encouragement, even at this moment, because She knows how exhausted Her children can become throughout their journey.
There are billions of people living in the global village. Some of them are living with goals, while others are living without goals. There are many different types of goals. Some have large goals, and others have small goals.
Most people are satisfied with having small goals and applying minimal effort toward them; however, there is a famous old quote that goes, “Boys, be ambitious!” Many wise people in earlier times advised that we should have big dreams. This means that we should have great goals. It is necessary to have great goals in our life of faith as well.
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Php 3:12–14
The Apostle Paul said, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward.”
In order to enjoy a happy life in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven, we must finish the race set before us. We shouldn’t waste our time without having a plan or goal; rather, we should be determined to proclaim this gospel to everyone in the world and spend 24 hours each day running toward the great goal of saving mankind. Preaching is the greatest and holiest task that God has entrusted to us (1 Th 2:4).
Preaching the gospel to everyone in the world is not something that is considered great from the perspective of God; however, it is a great task from the perspective of human beings. Since proclaiming the gospel to the entire world is a huge goal for us, it requires a great deal of effort on our part to achieve the goal. When we work hard toward the goal of saving everyone in the world, our mindset and behaviors will naturally change. As this process takes place, we are able to fulfill the great work God has called us to, and all of the spiritual systems can work together at the same time. Some may think it is enough to only bear one fruit a month, while others think to themselves that they should bear a hundred or even a thousand fruits every month. There is a big difference between these two groups of people in their thoughts and goals as well as the scale of work they fulfill and the amount of effort they put into their work.
God’s help is absolutely necessary in order to save everyone in the world. Let us continue to work as hard as we can to accomplish this goal, by praying diligently to God and asking for God’s help. In the Bible, God has already declared that this will surely be fulfilled.
Preaching the gospel to the entire world is not something that is too hard for God to accomplish, because He created the whole universe. It would only take one day, one minute or even one second for God to fulfill all of it by Himself; however, God has given us the mission of preaching the gospel to allow us to learn His sacrifice and love, as well as provide opportunities for us to be blessed.
The gospel work will be accomplished very quickly when we firmly believe that we can do it and make effort to carry it out.
As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you”; and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. Mt 9:27–31
Jesus encouraged the blind men by saying, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” Their sight was immediately restored because they had faith in Jesus.
In the Bible, we can see that throughout all ages God’s power has been working through those who have faith. Some of the Israelites were allowed to enter the land of Canaan, and others were not allowed to enter it, depending on whether or not they had faith. Those who feared the people of Canaan and said, “They are like giants, and we are like grasshoppers. There is no way we can defeat them,” were all destroyed in the desert. It was only Joshua and Caleb who said, “God is with us. We will swallow them up,” that were allowed to enter the land of Canaan.
God always tells us, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” We should have thoughts such as: “It is not I, but God, who is working through me. Everything is possible with God.” If we believe this and preach the gospel, we will bear beautiful fruit wherever we are. When we have the mistaken thought, “The environment here is not favorable, and it seems difficult to preach here,” we can never bear fruit. If we prejudge everything in this way, God will only give us results that coincide with our prejudicial faith.
Today, too, our brothers and sisters in Zion on every continent across the world are eagerly preaching the good news. They are all working hard to accomplish the goal of world evangelism with Mother’s support. Let us all quickly fulfill this mission with faith and unity. God has already promised that the gospel will be preached to the entire world.
“. . . but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Mt 24:13–14
Jesus said that the gospel of the kingdom would be preached to the whole world as a testimony to all nations. Once this is fulfilled, we will return to our spiritual home that is waiting for us. It is the infinite world where we will never fade away, become bored or tired. In our true home, we will travel between the stars, visiting one star today and another star tomorrow, while we enjoy the eternal life God has promised us.
In order to enter the glorious eternal world, we should go to all nations to preach about our spiritual Father and Mother, as well as the truth of the New Covenant that They have taught us. By doing this, we will find all of our brothers and sisters, who have been scattered throughout the world, and we will be able to return to the Kingdom of Heaven together with them. This is the path that we must walk according to God’s word. We must preach the good news of the kingdom and proclaim Heavenly Father and Mother to everyone we meet to see whether or not they are our lost brothers and sisters. There will be some who are our heavenly family members, and there will be others who are not. This is the process by which world evangelism is to be accomplished. According to the words of prophecy in the Bible, the gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the entire world as an undeniable testimony to all nations.
If the two blind men in Matthew 9 had not thought that Jesus could heal them, they wouldn’t have been able to regain their sight. They genuinely believed that Jesus would heal them, and as a result, their sight was restored. As soon as Jesus said, “According to your faith will it be done to you,” they were able to see the world they had never seen before. All of this was the result of their thoughts.
This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’ Therefore hear, O nations; observe, O witnesses, what will happen to them. Hear, O earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes [the fruit of their thoughts, KJV], because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.” Jer 6:16–19
The “fruit of their thoughts” can also be interpreted as the fruit of their faith. In this age, too, God is saying, “According to your faith will it be done to you,” emphasizing that everything is the fruit of our thoughts. God has declared that the gospel will be preached to Samaria and even to the ends of the earth. The Almighty God, who can do everything, has repeatedly asked us to preach the gospel to the entire world, and He has shown us the path we must follow to fulfill this.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you . . .” Mt 28:18–20
Only when we follow this path that Jesus has set before us will we be able to reach Heaven, our eternal home. This work of preaching is the most important command of God. In order to accomplish it, we must become united with one another and work hard together.
Within any military organization, there exist not only soldiers with rifles, but also food service specialists, logistics specialists, and administrative clerks. All of them should be united with one another, regardless of their role. This type of unity is also needed to complete the gospel. When we are united as one, we can pull all of our strength together and produce amazing results of the gospel. As long as we do things for God, it does not matter where we work and what our duties are. Whether we serve as cooks, administrative clerks or church facility managers, we are all participating in the gospel work according to God’s calling. When we faithfully carry out our own duties in our given situations and help one another in the process, we can accomplish the gospel work together. This is what pleases Father and Mother.
We should preach the gospel to whomever we meet and wherever we are. Those who work should preach in their workplaces, students in their schools, and housewives in their homes and neighborhoods. As we continue to work together in unity, the day will surely come when every nation will hear the gospel of God.
“Is anything too hard for the Lord? . . .” Ge 18:14
“ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.” Mk 9:23
Is anything too hard for God? He can do everything. Since the Bible clearly teaches about God in this way, it is wrong to have doubt or think to ourselves, “Is this really possible?” Everything is the fruit of our thoughts and takes place in accordance with our faith. We should never judge a situation or circumstance based on our own abilities. As God the Almighty has promised that He will accomplish all things for us, our faith should be inseparable from the standard of God’s word.
“For nothing is impossible with God.” Lk 1:37
Nothing is impossible with God. When God said, “Let there be light,” the light came into existence out of complete darkness. When God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water,” the water under the expanse was separated from the water above it. God fulfills every single word that goes out from His mouth, and He never fails to achieve His purpose (Ge 1:1–8; Isa 55:11).
God created the entire universe with innumerable galaxies and stars, and He hung the earth in empty space at a distance of about 150 million kilometers away from the sun. God is the One who orchestrates the entire solar system wherein the moon orbits the earth. He also helps the water on the earth continuously move by generating tides through the gravitational pull of the moon on the earth. Nothing is impossible with the Creator who has such wonderful counsel and power. We must believe this.
God, the great Creator and Operator of the universe, has come to this earth as the Spirit and the Bride, who say to us, “You are my children. Do not worry about anything. I will help you. I will defeat your enemies and lift the shroud of darkness away from you. Do not be afraid. Arise and shine the light.” Since God is helping us, we have absolutely nothing to fear at all.
Do you remember the track and field day you had when you were an elementary school student? On track and field day, parents visit their children’s school, and when their children are running, they cheer them on by calling out their names. In this situation, even the child who always finishes last in the races runs with all of his or her might.
God’s support is absolutely necessary in order for us to achieve the great task of world evangelism. Heavenly Mother is supporting all of Her children throughout the entire world. We should all have the faith that is strong enough to finish our race and reach Heaven safely, after becoming victorious through the help of God.
“I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said . . . So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Isa 41:9–13
. . . “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior . . . Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west.” Isa 43:1–5
This is a message of encouragement and support from Heavenly Father and Mother to us, which was recorded by the prophet Isaiah 2,700 years ago. God said that He would save His children, gather them, and help them. Since God promised to help us, there can be no greater support than this.
Mother said to Her children in Zion, “You are my only concern and everything in my life.” After hearing this message of support, our members became greatly encouraged, and renewed their determination for the gospel. The joyful news about this kind of realization has been continuously pouring in from all over the world. Upon hearing Mother’s words of encouragement, they reflected on their life of faith once again and came to think: “Mother is always supporting me in every way. Has Mother ever been my only concern and everything in my life? What have I been concerned about all of this time? Haven’t I spent my life pursuing all kinds of worldly desires?”
“Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tent and assign your nuggets to the dust, your gold of Ophir to the rocks in the ravines, then the Almighty will be your gold, the choicest silver for you. Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God. You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways. . . .” Job 22:21–30
God’s faithful and encouraging words always give us great comfort and cheer us up a lot. We should make God our treasure and engrave God’s words deeply in our hearts.
God is only concerned about us; however, we are often only concerned about worldly things. God tells us that if we throw away these worldly desires, we will be restored and everything we set out to do will be accomplished. It is exactly the same with the gospel work. If we make God our only concern and our everything, we can do everything God asks of us and whatever we decide to do will be accomplished.
We should remember that Mother is constantly supporting us, and have a gracious faith whereby we can please Mother by saying, “We are only concerned about You, and You are everything in our lives!” I earnestly ask all of you, brothers and sisters in Zion, to preach the glory of our Heavenly Father and Mother to Samaria and even to the ends of the earth. Let us always be encouraged by Mother’s support and preach to everyone in the world.
