The best way to bear the abundant fruits of the gospel is to put God in the center of our hearts. One of the characteristics of those who have put God in the center of their hearts is that they are naturally accustomed to serving others and humbling themselves. It is because God, who has personally shown His children an example of serving, dwells within them.
Before the Holy Supper of the Passover, Jesus personally washed His disciples’ feet, so that we would also serve one another with such a humble attitude. The God of heaven, who should have been seated on the highest throne, humbled Himself to the lowest place. As God’s children, if we engrave the will of God in our hearts, we shall never be arrogant.
Serving our brothers and sisters by fully resembling God who dwells within us—this must be the most sure-fire way to sufficiently accomplish the mission of ten talents God has entrusted to us.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
