In Dallas Zion, we have a male adult brother who is a firefighter. Since he is a firefighter who is dispatched to accident scenes, he feels the need of God’s protection more desperately than anyone else. So he’s been constantly preaching to his co-workers the good news of salvation for the past several years. However, most of his co-workers either didn’t want to listen to what the brother was preaching to them or argued with him. Some of them were interested in studying the truth, but soon closed their minds due to the negative reaction from people around them.

The brother felt so heartbroken, but at the same time he offered deep thanks to Father and Mother for opening his spiritual eyes and ears to realize the truth. He continued trying to save his co-workers whom he cares for. As the coronavirus outbreak was getting worse, the brother felt more eager to save them.

While he was earnestly preaching the word to all his co-workers one by one, one boss showed interest. He studied at work during the break almost every day for three weeks. He even participated in the male adult group’s virtual study meeting and was able to feel the warmth of Zion indirectly. And finally he was blessed to become God’s child.

We asked him how he was feeling that now he became God’s child. “I can’t even describe it. I got goosebumps,” he said and then he made us laugh by actually showing the goosebumps on his arm. The brother is already showing his burning will to preach.

“I’ve been attending the Catholic Church for five decades, but I never knew that such an amazing truth was hidden in the Bible. No one can teach this truth except God. I truly give thanks to God for allowing me to realize this truth. I want to learn the words of the truth quickly and preach to my family and other people.”

The firefighter brother, who led such a beautiful soul to God, could not hide his joy after bearing the first gospel fruit from his work. Although no one was listening to the words of the Bible that he was preaching, he did not feel discouraged or give up. Rather, he plucked up his courage to preach even to his boss whose rank is a lot higher than his. We felt deeply touched by his earnestness.

Through this, God let us realize that we can surely bear a fruit if we do not give up, and that the fruit of patience is sweeter than honey and more precious than pure gold. Many brothers and sisters who’ve been making efforts to lead their families and acquaintances for a long time were able to renew their strength. We will all fulfill the gospel mission with faith that does not give up.
