Sister Jayshree is a nurse. Whenever she has a chance, she preaches the gospel to the patients who come to her hospital. Among them, there were a pastor and his wife who came to her hospital from the countryside for their sick child. They were from Naydongri, four hours away from Nashik by train.
The pastor and his wife were startled by the word of God and asked the sister to come to their house and deliver the words to them more. It was a great suggestion, but it wasn’t easy to go visit them right away due to the distance and circumstances. It took us a month to visit them.

We formed a small short-term mission team and took the train bound for Naydongri at five in the morning. As soon as the train arrived at the station at around nine, the team including Sister Jayshree went straight to the pastor’s house, following the address written on a piece of paper he had given her. Asking people for directions again and again, we traveled for about twenty minutes by ricksha, and arrived at a church where a cross was set at the entrance of a village.
“We are from the Church of God in Nashik. You heard the truth a month ago, right?”
As it was planned, we started the study immediately. We somewhat felt uncomfortable teaching a pastor of a different religious body. However, we explained the truths one after another according to the words, “Whoever wishes, let him take the water of life” (Rev 22:17). He took in God’s words gladly like honey and quickly like a sponge. He recognized the Second Coming Jesus and Heavenly Mother—the Saviors of this age, and received baptism, the sign of salvation, right away on the same day. Then after that day, we studied the Bible with Brother Anil as often as possible.
One day, we were studying with him when a few people came to him. They were people from the Protestant church in Nashik. They had come to question him, hearing that he closed down the church and stopped keeping Sunday service.
We heard an argument, and then we heard them say, “Get all your stuff out of the church right now!” It turned out that he had built the church building in his land in Naydongri with the aid of the Protestant church group in Nashik and Mumbai.
Brother Anil was always calm and quiet when he studied with us, but at that time he said in a loud and a bold voice, “You can take everything. I don’t need them. I’ve finally met the truth, so I will no longer follow your teachings even if I have to leave this house. I followed you for six years, but it was all lies. I didn’t learn any truth of the Bible from you.”
Unexpectedly, we came to know the situation and what was in his mind, and so we gave all thanks to Father and Mother.
The brother continued to act firmly whenever they came back and bothered him. Nothing could be an obstacle to him as he was confident that he had found the truth. On the Passover, Brother Anil came to the Nashik Zion with nineteen people. They were the souls found so quickly in Naydongri. The brother is still visiting his parents, younger brother and his wife, and people who used to keep Sunday service with him to preach the truth of the new covenant.
It was God’s providence that Brother Anil received the truth; it was to save the heavenly children in the regions around where the brother lives. There is a certain region where Buddhism is prevalent near his home. Although Buddhism originated in India, Buddhist force is weak in India nowadays. Strangely, however, Buddhism is so strong in that region that the Protestant churches there had to close down.
Brother Anil knows many Christians in that region, who do not know where to go. Brother Anil and the members of the Nashik Church are planning to go there very soon to preach the truth. Our hearts are beating at the thought of meeting our lost heavenly family and going to the kingdom of heaven with them.
