On December 10, approximately 70 enthusiastic members from the World Mission Society Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group [ASEZ WAO] in Abancay, Peru, gathered to clean the Ullpuhuaycco River in Puquio.

The Ullpuhuaycco River is a site of considerable concern for the local government, because of its tendency to overflow due to the accumulation of sediments and weeds when it rains heavily. ASEZ WAO members rolled up their sleeves to prevent flooding and make a clean environment. For these volunteers, Abancay Municipality provided garbage bags and collection vehicles.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. and spanning four hours, they diligently scoured the riverbanks, meticulously collecting household waste and debris, including plastics, wires, and tires, which collectively amounted to approximately two tons.
