Church in Medan, Indonesia, Hosts the 1,634th ‘Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover’
Action of Love Through Blood Donation
On May 4, the Church in Medan, Indonesia held the 1,634th “Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover” at the Indonesian Red Cross Blood Donation Unit, Medan City. Around 40 members participated and 22 successfully donated blood, collecting approximately 8,000 milliliters in total.
On the day of the event, Harry Butarbutar, Head of the Indonesian Red Cross Blood Donation Unit, Medan City, expressed his gratitude for the members’ care and love toward the local community and presented a certificate of appreciation to the Church of God.
Armayanti Simarmata, one of the participating members, shared her thoughts, “I’m proud that I can contribute to saving others’ lives through blood donation.”
