On October 19, members of the Church of God in San Juan, Puerto Rico, helped with farm work at Hacienda El Paraíso as part of the Hold Hope campaign, held in commemoration of World Food Day on October 16. About 80 church members and local citizens joined forces to support the cultivation and harvesting of crops. They harvested cucumbers, peppers, watermelons, and pineapples, and also planted watermelon seeds.
