Dedication Service of the Churches in Sejong, Yuseong, Deokyang, and Samsong, Korea

Despite a long period of social distancing due to COVID-19, the number of members increased steadily throughout the world. In Korea, the dedication ceremonies of four churches were held in May. The Sejong and Yuseong Churches held dedication services in the afternoon and evening (Third Day worship) each on May 17; and the Deokyang and Samsong Churches held the dedication services together with the Sabbath afternoon and evening worships on May 21. At the long-awaited news of dedication, the members welcomed it with joy. The congratulatory messages from nearby churches and prominent people from diverse fields were lined up. The Church of God University Student Volunteer Group, ASEZ, Take Part in the Wildfire Recovery Efforts in Rep. of South Africa

ASEZ members in Cape Town, Rep. of South Africa, conducted wildfire recovery efforts. On April 18, a fire broke out at Table Mountain in Rep. of South Africa, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The fire was put out in four days amid strong winds, but 600 hectares of forest were burned, and nearby eleven structures, including six buildings of University of Cape Town [UCT], were damaged. The Church of God members are moving out the crates filled with material, lining up in a long line at UCT Library that has been damaged from a wildfire. Mongolia Church Association Holds an Online Bible Seminar

Due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the government of Mongolia issued a powerful ban on gathering of people and lockdown from February of the last year. Following the government’s COVID-19 guidelines, the members of the Church of God have been doing activities in contact-free manner such as keeping online worship services and providing online education. Furthermore, the members have been steadily giving a helping hand to their neighbors suffering from difficulties caused by COVID-19 pandemic by donating face masks, groceries, and snacks to them. Concerts in Peru, U.S., Malaysia, and Singapore

We held concerts to deliver the love of God Elohim and help our neighbors in need in the U.S., Peru, Malaysia, and Singapore with the power of music, a universal language. Prepared by the Church of God members, the concerts inspired participants with beautiful melodies, though they were different in size and place. Charity concert to help volcano victims in Moquegua, Peru Recently, the Ubinas volcano in Moquegua, Peru, showed signs of imminent eruption, causing anxiety to the residents. Volcanic ash and gases were already emitted up into the atmosphere at an altitude of 5,000 meters [16,400 ft] and volcanic ash fallout contaminated water and damaged crops. ASEZ Future Leader Forum in Virginia, U.S.

On April 28, ASEZ Future Leader Forum was held in the Church of God in Newport News, VA, U.S. It was for nurturing university students—protagonists of the future—as the future leaders to take the lead in reducing and preventing crimes, and for developing plans to encourage residents’ participation. The police officials of the city, ASEZ members, and 90 residents got together to reduce crime and make a safe community. Family Appreciation Day of the Chicago Church in IL, U.S.

The Chicago Church in IL, U.S. held the Family Appreciation Day on March 17. The members prepared the event to show their appreciation, apology, and love, which they couldn’t express due to busy schedules, to their families and relatives.
