At some point in time, one of my teeth started to hurt. The toothache disappeared soon, and I delayed going to the dentist. As time passed by, the pain became unbearable. Finally, I went to the dentist. As I expected, the tooth was severely decayed. Cavities had started to develop in my other teeth as well. So I decided to fix them all.

It was easy to fix the slightly decayed teeth, but it was very painful to fix the severely decayed tooth. The doctor said: “The deeper a cavity goes and the longer you delay treatment, the more pain you will experience and the longer it will take to fix.” Due to the bad cavity, I had to go to the dentist for almost three weeks. I deeply regretted it, saying to myself, “I should have gone to see the dentist earlier.”

It was very painful for me to treat the cavity because I kept delaying treatment. Likewise, it will be painful and take a long time to get rid of all the bad characteristics deeply inherent within my soul. If there is anything that harms my soul, I will get rid of it right away. As much as I ignore it as if it’s nothing, I will suffer so much and regret it deeply.
